Origin of Akira Miki and Mark
The first Akira Nagaike was sent to his uncle Marumatsu Knife Mfg. Co., Ltd. at the age of 12 at the recommendation of his parents. At the same time, feeling the responsibility of his eldest son, who has six younger brothers and sisters, he returned home and started his own business in his current location (1919).
At that time, the era of getting goodwill from the shop name had already changed to the era of selling trademarks, so I wanted to spread Miki's good knives to the world more clearly from the meaning of making my name "chapter" clear. However, I decided to write a chapter in the three trees and call it Miki Akira, and in 1927, I became confident in the product and applied for trademark registration, and it became a familiar and beloved mark.
